Funded Institutions

In response to the Request for Applications (CA-09-502) for the reissuance of the CDRP program, the prior five funded U56 grantee institutions submitted applications in December 2008.  The applications were reviewed on March 26, 2009 and on September 2009, three institutions, Rapid City Regional Hospital, Singing River Health System and New Hanover Regional Medical Center were funded for 5 years, while UPMC McKeesport Hospital was funded for 2 years for a total first year U54 funding of $2.55 million and overall five-year funding of $9.3 million.

Funded Institutions

In response to the Request for Applications (CA-02-002), six institutions applied for the grant. Two institutions, Laredo Medical Center and Rapid City Regional Hospital, were funded in September 2002 receiving more than $2.5 million in first year funding.

Additionally, in response to the Request for Applications (CA-03-018), eight institutions applied for the grant. The grants were reviewed on May 27, 2003. In September 2003, four sites, Daniel Freeman Memorial Hospital, New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Singing River Hospital and UPMC McKeesport, were funded in September 2003.
